Metallurgy
Ironmaking and steelmaking, rolling mills, metal forming. Vibration and current diagnostics on drives, pumps and gas cleaning; APC and CV quality control on rolling.
This mix delivers the most on the industry's key process stages. Details in the cards below.
Monitored machines — interactive
Exhauster, stand gearbox, blower — machines that stop a whole process stage. The models are interactive: measurement points on bearings, drive current from the cabinet.

Where Liman-Tech applies — stage by stage
For each stage: the equipment worth monitoring and what each method delivers. No fluff.
Steelmaking units (EAF, converter)
Rolling mills (hot and cold rolling)
Gas cleaning and water circuit
Where combined methods multiply the effect
Three rollout levels — pick by maturity
Reliability of critical mill machines
Main stand drives, oxygen-plant compressors, pumps
CV quality control
Surface, strip geometry, end welding
Combustion and furnace-regime optimization
Sintering and ironmaking, reheating
Results in numbers
- −5–15% fuel on furnaces and reheating with combustion optimization
- −20–50% electricity on draft fans (ID/FD fans) when switched to VFD
- −5–15 kWh/t on the EAF through slag-foaming control
- Early detection of drive faults — 2–6 months before failure
Industry benchmarks; your actual results follow a site assessment at your operation.
Video surveillance across the main production shops of a metallurgical plant is one of our live cases.
Three commercial models
From outright purchase to a service model where you pay out of verified savings.
CAPEX — purchase
You own the hardware and software — the full effect is yours. Transparent and familiar; for critical infrastructure it is the only option.
MaaS — subscription
Monitoring-as-a-Service: 36 months, a monthly base fee plus a share of the verified effect. The performance risk is ours — no effect, nothing beyond the base.
ESCO — energy performance contract
Energy-saving measures with no capital outlay on your side: we invest, repayment comes out of verified savings.
Find out where to start at your works
Rolling stands, exhausters, oxygen plants, gas cleaning, conveyors — tick what hurts and a manager comes back with specifics: which machines to monitor and how big the pilot should be.
- We match the method mix to your equipment
- We size the pilot and give you ballpark figures
